Name of game: air hoop gameObjectives: - Allow J1s to persevere and realize that everyone must work together - Encourage teamwork and coordination - Notice who is able to point out the root of the problem, and who only blames Duration: - 10mins Description: - J1s must work together to carry a hula hoop over a distance, using only their little finger Procedure: - Game ICs to use masking tape to mark out a distance of 10m on the ground - Place hula hoop on the ground at starting point - All J1s in the group must use their little finger to lift the hula hoop off the ground, carry it over to the end point and bring it down to the ground properly - Game ICs to ensure that fingers are straight(not hooked), and everyone’s little finger must be in contact with hula hoop at all times - If hula hoop drops, group restarts Manpower: - Ying Fang, Kennison Logistics: - masking tape to mark out distance - 5 hula hoops At least one of e station ics of each station hav got e feedback from us. Schedule for tml trg1) Intro to odac-slideshow + video in classroom E1-5 2) Ice-breakers- j1s and j2s are splitted into 4 groups, the ICs for each group are Wei Yang, Gina, Zhang Xiang and Zakiah. ICs pls think of some ice-breakers games for tml. 3) Trust fall- Wei Yang and Gina grp will combine while Zhang Xiang and Zakiah grp wil combine. 4) Light PT- we will most probably be doing caterpillar runs. 5) Debrief 6) J1s will be dismissed while J2s will have extra PT. TJC DUATHLON we've missed the early bird promo, so for now,$30 per pair, regardless of category. Mens, womens, mixed. Hello!Great job guys for the National Vertical Marathon! (: Hope you guys had a good experience of what a vertical marathon is. The individual timings and overall group timings will be up sooon on the website. Besides road race, another 2 event's coming up! TJ OAC Duathlon. Its on the 4th of April, 7am at East Coast Park. Like almost all races, theres gonna be 3 categories, males, females, mixed. Teams of 2 are to be formed, one runner one cyclist. The race format would be: 3km run - 16km bike - 3km run Early bird offer is $26 (per pair) till 13 feb. Normal price is $30 (per pair). Race around singapore which consists of cycling, skating, trekking, kayaking, diving (cool). Teams of 4 are to be formed. VJC's ODAC is inviting us to join D.A.R.E 2 (Discovering Adventure Realising Extremes).It takes place on 21st March (2 days before blocks), from 630am to 530 pm. Its pretty much like how synergy works, having to follow designated routes, completing tasks, and having to fill in a race passport. This event will consist of activities such as running, kayaking, trail biking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, abseiling and swimming. Teams formed are to be in pairs, and have to complete the race together. Teams can sign up for Men's open, Women's open, or Mixed open. Race fees are $30 PER PERSON, and theres a early bird promotion of $25 (by 14 feb). For those who require bike rentals, an additional $5 is needed.
